Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Apply contemporary concepts in prostate cancer grading and reporting
  • Develop a diagnostic approach to challenging prostate cancer morphologies, including false-positives, false-negatives and neuroendocrine carcinomas
  • Appropriately stage, grade and report renal neoplasms
  • Recognize the spectrum of new and emerging renal neoplasms
  • Utilize needle core biopsy in appropriately interpreting and reporting renal neoplasms
  • Develop a diagnostic approach to flat and papillary urothelial lesions
  • Accurately classify urothelial lesions with appropriate staging, and recognize important urothelial carcinoma subtypes
  • Develop a diagnostic approach to germ cell and non-germ cell testicular neoplasia
  • Appropriately utilize immunohistochemistry in the diagnosis of urologic malignancies
